Valerie Jarrett Speaks Truth to Power

Valerie Jarrett is one side or the other of Obama's brain.  I forget which.  It is a side of his brain he turns to constantly for advice.  Such as the advice to hire Van Jones, the communist, as Green Jobs Commissar.  He turns to her for advice on all things political.  Here is some of her recent wisdom:

"I think that what the administration has said very clearly is that we're going to speak truth to power. When we saw all of the distortions in the course of the summer, when people were coming down to town hall meetings and putting up signs that were scaring seniors to death."

 Gee, Valerie, a lot of those signs were made by seniors who were themselves scared to death.  Did you miss that?  Grannys who do not want the plug pulled on them are the power you great big socialists power mongers were hired to bring under control?  Do you really mean that you think you were hired to beat down Granny?  Boy, that sure would explain a lot!!!

Not infrequently, a politician pretends to be someone he is not. Politicians are actors who do not act a role for a movie or a TV plot, but live their roles most of the hours of their lives. Nonetheless, they generally need some down time and they seek that among their friends, with whom they have permission to be themselves. Obama chose the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and Valerie Jarrett as friends for many years and they tell us much about whose company makes him comfortable. His friends are commonly committed socialists, bitter critics of America's past history, friends of organized labor unions, and enemies of wealth in the abstract, but frequently inclined to grasp for wealth through the exercise of special interest politics.

One of Obama's recent appointees was Van Jones, the ex-Green Jobs Czar, who was a self-professed Communist and who believed that President Bush had purposely allowed the destruction of the Twin Towers. He did say that he signed the petition saying that Bush was responsible for allowing the Twin Towers' destruction without reading it, but this would seem unlikely on the part of a graduate of Yale Law School.

No....Let me reconsider that. What I just said would be true given the premise that no rational and responsible man would sign a petition without knowing what it said. I must remember that we have come to understand that it is a characteristic of socialists that they do not read the legislative bills they vote for in Congress, so I suppose it is likely that a socialist will not read the petitions he signs either! But, this is also disturbing. It says that Obama put a very irrational and irresponsible man in a position of some considerable power. We also should ask what motivated him to sign the petition he had not read, if this is not a lie. Is he a man who just has to please and say yes to anything a fellow socialist asks him to do? Would this not tell us more about the socialist mindset? And also of that of the man who appointed him to his position?

This brings me back to Mark Lloyd, with a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, and a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress (CAP), heavily funded by George Soros. While at CAP, he criticized the free market for allowing conservative talk radio shows to become too popular. He suggested a number of schemes for reducing the power of conservative talk show hosts by taxing their radio stations heavily and by forcing more local ownership and ownership diversity. In other words, use the power of government to keep the People from choosing who they listen to! This same man has praised Hugo Chavez and the way in which he realized the power of the broadcast media and then took it over in Venezuela. Clearly, these are just the qualifications Obama was looking for. Obama appointed him Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer at the Federal Communications Commission. Where better to put him to carry out the program he developed at CAP to squelch conservative talk radio hosts? We know Obama by the company he keeps and by his judgment of who should be given control of power in the government. Over and over, he has turned to a cadre of highly committed socialists for such positions.

Over and over, we hear that Obama is a nice guy. He has a nice family we are told. Why how could a man with a wife, children, and a dog be bad or even evil? Hmmm....Didn't Stalin have a wife (at least two), children (at least 3), and a dog (a black Terrier)? To be sure, Stalin was not the loving father that Obama appears to be. Still, loving your family is no guarantee that a politician is genuinely motivated by a desire to seek the General Welfare of the People.

When a politician truly cares about the General Welfare of the People, he cares to severely limit the power of government in recognition of the sovereign right of each individual American to his own life, his own liberty, and his own pursuit of happiness. In Obama's case, he has made it very clear that he is a determined enemy of the rights of the individual. He is constantly talking about Americans serving others and advocating the use of government power to make them do just that. Obama is not a nice guy. We must recognize that fact so we can redouble our determination to fight for the embattled rights of the individual in this fight which the socialists recognize as a desperate fight. We must be as passionate in defense of freedom as they are in taking control of the People.

Green Jobs Czar Van Jones

In 2004, while being interviewed on the Radio, Obama's Green Jobs Czar Van Jones spoke about using the Green Revolution or the Green Economy as "the engine to transform the whole system" from what he described as suicidal gray capitalism to, first, Eco-Capitalism and then to go beyond that to end exploitation in a more ideal socialist system. He talked about how you do not make all your demands at once, but first get one demand, then make another, and then another. This is the type of tactic I warned about in my post on the critical need to avoid compromises with these socialists on 14 August 2009, called Compromise - The Road to Socialism. This is exactly what his present job as Obama's Green Jobs Czar, really Commissar, is all about.

For Obama to carry out his socialist revolution or coup from within the government of the United States, he needs a cadre of radical socialist organizers who are steeped in the tenets of Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers. In many cases the people best suited to constitute this cadre are too radical to put into government positions requiring Congressional approval. They also cannot be vetted by the normal processes. So, the solution to put them in positions of power to carry out his and their great plan to turn the United States into a socialist people's republic is to create many Czar (really Commissar) positions and fill them with his radical socialist cadre members.

It has also been reported that Van Jones signed a petition saying that the Bush administration was complicit in the Twin Towers attack. Before that, it was reported that he called himself a communist. The media talks about the failure to vet Van Jones properly as though it was attempted, but not carried out well. On the contrary, Van Jones and his viewpoints were well-known to Obama and to his political adviser Valerie Jarrett. There was no error. Van Jones is their man and he is exactly the kind of man they wanted. Van Jones is a man much needed in their cadre for a socialist coup from within the federal government.

Despite all of his foolishly wrongheaded socialist beliefs, Time magazine named Van Jones one of its "environmental heroes" in 2008. Fast Company named him one of the "12 most creative minds in 2008." The press is supposed to help protect us from tyrants, not to promote such monsters, such brutal socialists, for positions of power over the People.

Fortunately, Fox News and many outlets on the Internet have done the job that the mainstream media would not do. The resulting hullabaloo has aroused enough ire from the People, that Van Jones resigned his position on 5 September. One small victory, but oh so many more to go. The Obama administration is still full of slicker committed socialists working tirelessly to overthrow those remnants of our Constitution which are still observed and those last vestiges of the Capitalist system.

The Green Jobs Commissar

Van Jones is the Green Jobs Commissar in the Obama administration. He is an advocate of creating jobs for the poor by having them perform insulation improvements on homes and buildings. That is fine, at least before we find the government suggesting subsidies to have people make such insulation improvements. This guy has his roots deep in socialism, however, and has even described himself as a communist and a friend of anarchists. He worked for years to be a revolutionary and is a founder of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, which was connected with the STORM collective (Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement) with Marxist influences. That Obama sure can pick them, can't he? Over and over again we find the strongest evidence that Obama's worldview is completely socialist. He is a thoroughly committed enemy of the free market system and capitalism, though he is frequently a corporate socialist.
