Obama long ago made it clear that he did not have much respect for the U.S. Constitution, since it was a roadblock to his redistributionist politics. I have long held that his presidency was no real presidency because he never took his oath of office to defend, protect, and preserve the Constitution seriously. He out and out lied when he took the oath of office and he was very aware that he was doing so.
In the opening scene of the video below, Obama says that he was not born in Hawaii, he was not born in America, that he may not be a U.S. citizen, and that he came from Kenya. In the second scene, Michelle Obama says he was born in Kenya. It is very clear that Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen and is therefore ineligible to be President of the United States of America. That he holds the office under false pretenses is further proof that he has no respect for the Constitution.
Barack Obama should be impeached, but it will not happen. He will be a one-term impostor to the presidency. He should never be called President as a result, however. The history of American Presidents should always have an asterisk by his name proclaiming his illegitimacy. Let us have no more talk that he is the worst U.S. President ever. That description belongs to someone who actually was President, perhaps Jimmy Carter.
Re: "Obama says that he was not born in Hawaii, he was not born in America, that he may not be a U.S. citizen, and that he came from Kenya."
ReplyDeleteAnswer: This is a FORGED video, done by cutting the NOT out of the "I was not born in Kenya." If Obama had said that he was born in Kenya, you would see a surprised reaction on the face of the audience, but there is none.
Obama was born in Hawaii, as his official birth certificate from Hawaii and the repeated confirmations of the officials and the governor of Hawaii have all demonstrated.
If a person were born in Kenya, she or he would need a US travel document to get to the USA. That would be either a US visa on a foreign passport or the change to his mother's US passport to include him. One or the other would have had to have been applied for at a US Consulate in Kenya and granted before the child would be allowed to enter the USA.
If such a document existed, it would be easy to find because the records of the application for the visa or for the change to the mother's passport would still be in the files of the US State Department, filed under applications for visas and applications for changes to passports in Kenya in 1961. The Republicans were in charge of the US State Department until January 2009. No such document has been found. No such document exists.
Obama was not born in Kenya. He was born in Hawaii, as his official birth certificate from Hawaii shows, and the facts on it were repeatedly confirmed by the officials in Hawaii. Obama has already posted a copy of the official birth certificate, the Certification of Live Birth, which is the only birth document that Hawaii has been sending out since 2001. Hawaii no longer sends out copies of the original birth certificate, only of the official birth certificate: The Certification of Live Birth.
The video you show is a FORGERY. It was done by cutting the NOT out of the statement "I was not born in Kenya." If he had said "I was born in Kenya," there would have been a reaction from the audience, and there was no reaction.
ReplyDeleteObama was born in Hawaii, as his birth certificate--the official birth certificate and only birth certificate that Hawaii issues-shows and as confirmed repeatedly by the officials in Hawaii and the governor of Hawaii.
Obama never said he was born in Kenya. That is a forged video, done by cutting out the NOT.
ReplyDeleteNeither did his Kenyan grandmother say that he was born in Kenya. Obama’s Kenyan grandmother NEVER said that he was born in Kenya. She said repeatedly in the taped interview that he was born in Hawaii, where his father was studying, and she said in another interview that the first that her family in Kenya had heard of Obama’s birth was in a letter from Hawaii.

Congrats. I'm never reading this blog again. It's an interesting argument but the tape is clearly cut up to mislead. Doesn't seem very objectist to so deliberately distort the truth. Cheers.
ReplyDeletewoah woah woah. The following text was posted with the linked video:
ReplyDelete"The video starts out with some content from obamasnippets.com, which, of course is contrived. And yet, there seems to be a synthetic truth about what the president says."
Three anonymous commenters say the video was forged with the "not" cut out of the statement, "I was not born in Kenya."
ReplyDeleteWhat we hear was: "It's true, I'm not an American. I was not born in Hawaii. I was not born in the United States of America. I come from Kenya." Cutting a "not" out of "I was not born in Kenya." yields no such statement.
When Obama says "It's true, I'm not an American.", we cannot clearly see his lips, but his arm and head motions seem in synch with the statement. In that we are aided by his characteristic deliberate cadence.
When he says, "I was not born in Hawaii." we can actually read his lips through the first syllable of Hawaii.
When he says, "I was not born in the United States of America.", his head and hand movements again seem very consistent with his cadence.
When he says, "I come from Kenya.", his head and hand movements seem again to be in cadence with the statement.
In the Michelle Obama speech, we can read her lips as she says "We visited his home country in Kenya."
The first two anonymous commenters claim he could not have said he was not born in Hawaii since there would be a surprised reaction by the crowd. Why would one expect that if this occurred when he was a Senator or before and not running for President? He might have been boastful of his success in America and we know he is proud to identify with a colonialist country which has won its independence and long flirted with Marxism. Or, how many people back during the election cycle even knew that a President had to be natural born and what that meant? Or, how many of his devoted followers care a fig whether he was natural born? Or, how many of his followers care about the constitutionality of anything when the socialist cause is best served by ignoring the Constitution.
One does not claim to have come from the country that one's father came from if one was born in the USA. Obama might say, "I am part Kenyan.", but he would not say, "I come from Kenya." Michelle Obama would not say that Kenya was his home country.
The similarities of these poor arguments cause one to wonder where these anonymous commenters took their marching orders from. It is clear they did not even listen carefully to the video.
There may be some possibility that this is a particularly skillful alteration of a real video, but it has legs because Obama has lied to us myriad times and there is so much of his history that has been fabricated. When someone establishes himself as an habitual liar, then one's credibility is open to constant doubt.
It would be interesting if someone who claims the first two video scenes with Obama and his wife were forged could direct us to the supposed original video for comparison. I am perfectly happy to be as objective about this as possible.
Re: "What we hear was: "It's true, I'm not an American. I was not born in Hawaii. I was not born in the United States of America. I come from Kenya." Cutting a "not" out of "I was not born in Kenya." yields no such statement."
ReplyDeleteSorry, i was referring to another forgery. This was done by inserting a NOT in all those places. That is easy to do too.
There still is no reaction from the audience, and there still is no evidence of his birth in Kenya, and there is OFFICIAL evidence of his birth in Hawaii. IF OBAMA HAD REALLY SAID WHAT THIS CLAIMS, it would have been news all over the place. Since there was no news report of the statement, and yet you can see that it was made in public, the chances of him saying 'I am not an American' are nil.
If a person were born in Kenya, she or he would need a US travel document to get to the USA. That would be either a US visa on a foreign passport or the change to his mother's US passport to include him. And, for the folks who still believe that the video is not forged, would you like to buy the Brooklyn Bridge? It's on sale for cheap.
Re: Michell saying "We visited his home country in Kenya."
ReplyDeleteAnswer: Yes, a home country refers to a country of one's ancestors. That was the way both Reagan and Kennedy referred to their home country or home land of Ireland, where they were NOT born.
Re: "Why would one expect that if this occurred when he was a Senator or before and not running for President?"
ReplyDeleteBut he had already written in his first book, Dreams from My Father, that he was born in Hawaii in Kapio'lani Hospital.
I have no idea how to find the original tape, but it is easy to forge such tapes, and it is difficult to forge the documents in the Hawaiian birth certificate files that four officials (the clerk, the two heads of departments who confirmed and the Republican governor of Hawaii) all said clearly shows that Obama was born in Hawaii.
Moreover, it takes a particularly CREDULOUS person to believe that Obama's mother ever went to Kenya. Have you any idea what such a trip would have cost in 1961 in 2010 dollars? (Tens of thousands becaue there was no competition among airlines) And these were two poor students. Have you any idea how risky it would have been to take that trip while pregnant in 1961--lots of stillbirths in those days and Kenya had Yellow Fever.
Yet, despite the official birth certificate and the statements of the officials, and the lack of proof from Kenya that Obama was there or that his mother was there, and the high expense and risk of the trip, you are willing to consider plausibly true a tape recording in which Obama is said to say something which is not in his interests to say, and which has not been reported as news (When if he had said any such thing, it would have been picked up by the newspapers and certainly by his opponents in the primary and national elections).
Would you like to buy the Brooklyn Bridge?
The first of the last three Anonymous commenters insists that a NOT was inserted in three places, one of which was supposedly done despite our ability to read his lips as he said "I was NOT born in Hawaii." and others without disrupting his body movement timing. Pure assertion on the part of the commenter.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I do not know how Obama as a baby might have been brought back to the U.S. This is one of many, many mysteries in Obama's life. For instance, we do not know why he used many social security numbers either. We do have reason to know that his family never had much respect for the law and that he most certainly has none. We also know that many illegal aliens come into the U.S. without having a mother who is a U.S. citizen. Apparently 12 million people at a time have no problem entering the U.S. without documents. Could it be that the integrated total number of people who have entered the U.S. without documents in Obama's lifetime is, say, 40 million?
Again, two of the Anonymous commenters bring up the controversial Certificate of Live Birth. So much has been said about the problems of interpreting that as proof of birth in the U.S., that I will not repeat the arguments.
Anonymous 2: I find it very strange to refer to a country as one's home country when one has neither been born there or lived there. To me, that is a failure to appreciate the United States. But, I am interested in a quote or citation of Reagan calling Ireland his home country or the country from which he came to state it as Obama did. One of the interesting hidden questions about his college days was whether he attended college as an American or as a foreign student.
Anonymous 3: Perhaps Obama's mom went to Kenya by ship. Perhaps Obama's father paid to have her fly to Kenya. Perhaps she went on drug money. I have already addressed the crowd not being surprised issues. The media was very co-operative in covering up the Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, and the many radical socialist associations of Obama. His place of birth is a small issue in comparison.
Anonymous 1 and 3: You both seem to claim ownership of the Brooklyn Bridge. What a coincidence. I wonder where you got that delusion. But, then I wondered how anyone could vote for Obama after his Democratic National Convention speech when he said he was going to cure disease and deal with poverty throughout the world and lower the level of the oceans. He claimed godlike powers and you voted for him. How gullible is that?
Re: “I do not know how Obama as a baby might have been brought back to the U.S. This is one of many, many mysteries in Obama's life. ‘
ReplyDeleteAnswer: And yet you believe the possibility that he was born in Kenya. There would have to have been an expensive and risky trip to Kenya, an unrecorded return without US documents and a successful claim that Obama was born in Hawaii for the Kenya myth to be true.
Re: “For instance, we do not know why he used many social security numbers either. ‘
Answer: The answer to that is also simple, and it should have been apparent to someone who distrusts government. Wait for it, wait for it. The answer is that the Social Security Administration for decades has been lazy and sloppy and hundreds of thousands of people have multiple SS numbers in their files caused by clerks entering numbers in wrongly. But, this does not matter because who can use multiple SS numbers and if so, for what? In any case, there are multiple SS numbers in lots of peoples’ files (There was in mine, I discovered.)
Re: “Apparently 12 million people at a time have no problem entering the U.S. without documents.”
Answer. Yes, from Mexico mainly, but not from Kenya. If the Obama baby was carried back to the USA either on a plane or a ship (and believe me, there were very few Kenya-Hawaii boats in those days), he would have had to have been carried through immigration, and they would have asked to see his papers. (Sure, there was always a chance of sneaking the kid through or bribing the official, but the parents could not have known that this would be successful, so they would have had to have gotten papers. If they had gotten papers in Kenya, they would have been found.) And then they would have had to have convinced officials in Hawaii that the kid was born in Hawaii.
There isn’t even proof that Obama’s mother had a passport in 1961, and relatively few Americans did in those days, and the percentage of those in Hawaii who did was far less than the average for all the country.
ReplyDeleteRe the “controversial Certificate of Live Birth..
Answer: First, it is the official birth certificate of Hawaii. Second, Hawaii does not and did not in 1961 allow a birth certificate to be issued saying “born in Honolulu” unless there was proof that the child was born in Honolulu. Third, it is not merely the document itself but the confirmations of the officials in Hawaii that establish the proof. There would have to be four liars for the “born in Honolulu” to be false: the original clerk, who saw Honolulu on the document in the file, the two top officials of the department of health and department of vital records who confirmed the facts, and most recently the Republican governor of Hawaii, who even gave the name of the hospital, Kapiolani.
Re: “I am interested in a quote or citation of Reagan calling Ireland his home country…’
Answer: I’ll look, but that’s what I’ve been told. In any case, it is common usage among people whose families come from Ireland or Italy to refer to Ireland as their home country or home land.
But, supposing Michelle had really believed that Obama was born in Kenya. Would that prove that he was born in Kenya? For that matter, suppose that Obama said that he was born in Kenya or believed that he was born in Kenya or both. Would that prove that he was born in Kenya? No more than if he believed that he was born in Hawaii. I believe that I was born in Ohio. But how can I prove it? Only one way: with the official birth certificate of Ohio.
In Obama’s case, we have not only the official birth certificate, and the confirmations of the officials, but we have this witness, who recalls being told of his birth in Hawaii (in Kapiolani Hospital) http://www.buffalonews.com/incoming/article137495.ece.
We also have the absence of any proof or even a reasonable story that Obama was born anywhere else than Hawaii.
I am told that the attorney general of Hawaii is a conservative Republican. If he thought that there was anything wrong with Obama’s birth certificate, he could have subpoenaed the original and taken action. But he didn’t. We also know that the McCain campaign checked out the allegations of birth in Kenya, and found nothing.
ReplyDeleteRe: Perhaps Obama's mom went to Kenya by ship. Perhaps Obama's father paid to have her fly to Kenya. Perhaps she went on drug money.”
Answer: Remotely possible (though there is evidence that Obaamas’ father was opposed to the mixed-race marriage and hence would not have paid for such an expensive trip, if he had that much money—which is unlikely), but we still do not know whether Obama’s mother had a passport. If she did, why would she travel during pregnancy (and it is only by travel late in pregnancy does the Kenya scenario work, apparently because there is evidence that she was in Hawaii for most of that year)? How many women would make a long, tiring, risky and expensive trip, when they could make the same trip two weeks after the child was born without carrying the weight, without the risk of miscarriage, Etc. Yet the Kenya myth insists that she went to Kenya before the birth and gave birth there, and got back to the USA without a visa for the child, and then lied (Why? For most purposes naturalization is just as good as birth in the USA, so if Obama were born in Kenya, why take the risk of lying about it, just naturalize the child when needed) and that she got away with it. (The latter is also unlikely since they demanded proof in the form of witnesses when a birth outside of a hospital was claimed.)
Re: “The media was very co-operative…’
Answer. There are thousands of newspapers and magazines in this country, and hundreds of foreign press are based here. If even one of them had seen the tape saying that Obama was not born in the USA, he or she would have run with it because it is NEWS, which sells newspapers. In addition, your claim is that this statement was made before the election and presumably during the primaries or before even them. If so, then McCain or Hillary would have run with the story. But none of this happened. Probable explanation: The video is FORGED.
Re: “He claimed godlike powers and you voted for him. How gullible is that?’
Answer: It was better than voting for McCain/Palin.
Let us designate the last three Anonymous commenters as Anonymous 8, 9, and 10. Are the many Anonymous commenters part of a campaign to tire out any blogger with endless Anonymous comments so that everyone fears to bring up the questions of Obama's citizenship?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 8: I believe that the proof that Obama was born in the U.S. is dubious and that many too few people have been allowed to see the evidence. I also believe that Obama and Michelle Obama are saying he was born in Kenya and that others have said the same.
The reports that Obama has used multiple SS numbers are not the same as some government clerk writing down the wrong number. I have never used multiple SS numbers on documents I have signed and honest people do not do that either.
Of course there are few direct flights or boats from Kenya to the U.S. If you want to get to Kenya, you might go to Bombay and fly from there to Hong Kong and then to Japan and then to Mexico City, for instance. In 1955, I lived in Corpus Christi, Texas and went to Mexico a few times as a child and had no passport. A passport was probably not expected for a baby in 1961 either. You just had to be with an adult with identification back then. Going to either Mexico or Canada was very easy for Americans back then.
Anonymous 9: Yes, few Americans had passports in 1961. You did not need one to go to Canada and probably did not need one to go to Mexico either. I know you did not need one to go to Mexico in the 1950s. Besides, this argument is basically one that since most Americans did not have a passport, Obama's mom did not either. Since most American women did not marry men from Kenya, then Obama's mom did not either. A few years later, Obama's mom married a man from Indonesia and moved there to live for many years. But most American women did not do that either.
"But, supposing Michelle had really believed that Obama was born in Kenya? Would that prove that he was born in Kenya? For that matter, suppose that Obama said that he was born in Kenya or believed that he was born in Kenya or both. Would that prove that he was born in Kenya?" If Obama and Michelle think he was born in Kenya, then he should not have run for the presidency. That would have been very dishonest and would have invalidated his oath of office. Of course, we might put his belief aside ourselves, but he should not put it aside.
As for the certificate of live birth, such a document was easy to obtain by bribing a low paid government worker, I expect. Maybe one to the committed socialists tied in with his mom was working in the appropriate bureau at the time. Or, maybe there was no Certificate of Birth from back then, since the reputed copy shown by FactCheck is nothing like that of other people born in Honolulu at about that time.
Anonymous 10: Says that some Republicans might have looked into this and did not make an issue of it. McCain did not even make an issue of Bill Ayers or the Rev. Wright. He was terrified of doing anything that the politically correct Progressives might make an issue about. He was even a gullible backer of catastrophic man-made global warming. These Republicans allow elections to be stolen by the votes of the dead. They are hardly useful guardians of the truth.
ReplyDeleteIf Obama's father's father was opposed to the wedding, Obama's mom may have gone to Kenya to try to change his mind. Maybe he did not pay for the trip. A few years later she was able to go to Indonesia. As for traveling while pregnant, women do it all the time. His mom seemed to like primitive overseas places and had a low opinion of the United States.
Once again the claim is made that the video was forged, but there is no explanation as to how. The fact that one can lip read Obama saying "I was not born in Hawaii." is not addressed.
I am just taking Obama at his unguarded word here. Of course, he has told me many lies, so I have no faith in his honesty at all. I expect he has also sworn that he was born in Hawaii on other occasions. One way to recognize a liar is to note that contradictions in what he says over time. Many Americans are still wondering about his promise that they can keep the health insurance they had if they liked it. The health insurance my company offers went up 19% in cost because ObamaCare does not allow us to keep the health insurance we had and liked. He has also claimed to have created 1 million jobs in the last year, when the total number of jobs went up only 617,000 and they were mostly not created by Obama. Of course, his biggest lie was his oath of office that he would defend, protect, and preserve the Constitution, which he recognizes as incompatible with his plans to redistribute wealth. He is fundamentally violating it and is he is fully aware of that. He told he was aware of that on the radio in Chicago before he became a Senator.
